Jayce Ogren's insightful examination of American music continues in this wide-ranging program exploring the musical character of the nation on the approach of its 250th birthday.


Good Old Days Downtown Pacific Grove May 2–3 | 9AM–6PM

Good Old Days massive street festival and fair features over 6 bands and shows over five stages, 225 Arts and Crafts vendors and 35 food vendors.


The Mystical Arts of Tibet: Sacred Music and Chants Sunset Center | Carmel May 22 | 7:30PM

Witness one of the world's oldest traditions when Mystical Arts of Tibet returns to Sunset Center to share their sacred visual and performing arts, the spiritual value of which transcends borders, cultures, and time.


THE GALLERY

Carmel Art Festival Devendorf Park | Carmel May 15–17

The 33rd anniversary of the Carmel Art Festival, held in Carmel-by-the-Sea since 1993. 60 plein air artists, a veritable list of all-star winners of the past 30 years, arrive in Carmel on May 15 and will be painting all over the Monterey Peninsula for 2 days.
